SALTINGS HOLIDAY COTTAGE NORTH CORNWALL
LOCATION AND ATTRACTIONS
Wadebridge, a bustling market town, is situated in North Cornwall on the Camel Estuary between Padstow and Polzeath, an ideal place to base yourself for a Cornish holiday.
The stunning beaches of Constantine, Harlyn and Polzeath are only a short drive away.
Wadebridge has bucked the trend of high street vendors and maintained its individuality with dozens of independent shops. Local butchers, fish mongers, bakerys and boutique shops can all be found along the pedestrianised Molesworth Street.
The town is also home to the UK's best coffee. Hugo at Relish is the 2008 UK Barista Champion. A medium sized Co-op is located in town and for the one stop shop, Tesco can be found on the edge of Wadebridge.
For those of you interested in out door activities, Saltings is situated half way along the Camel Trail, which is a cycle trail running alongside the Camel estuary on a disused railway line between Padstow and Bodmin.
There are many surf schools in the local area. Our friends at Waves Surf School or O'Neill Surf Academy will be happy to help you find your surfing feet. The world famous Eden Project, a must on any Cornish holiday, is only 11 miles away. For those of you that decide to stay at Saltings, we will provide you with a detailed list of our favourite places and local recommendations for dining and days out. |
